Experience the best of Tanzania with a 5-day fly-in safari starting from Arusha Airport. You’ll fly to Northern Serengeti for 2 nights, witnessing the breathtaking great migration and exploring the Mara River. You’ll continue to Central Serengeti for incredible game drives amidst its wildlife. You’ll journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with diverse animals, and end your adventure in Tarangire National Park, known for its elephants and ancient baobab trees.

Arrival

You’ll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
 

Day 1: Arusha Airport to Northern Serengeti

Your safari adventure starts with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha and a transfer to Arusha Airport. You’ll take a one-hour flight to Northern Serengeti and land at Kogatende Airstrip. Upon arrival, your private safari vehicle will be ready to take you on an exciting tour of Northern Serengeti. You’ll visit the Mara River to see the amazing migration crossing. After an exciting day, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Northern Serengeti

You will start your day at sunrise with a full-day game drive in the stunning Northern Serengeti, with the main focus on witnessing the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration. After an exciting morning and early afternoon in the north, you will begin a scenic game drive towards Central Serengeti, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way. By evening, you will arrive at your accommodation in Central Serengeti for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive In Central Serengeti

You will wake up in Central Serengeti and set out for a full-day game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the park. Known for its abundant resident wildlife year-round, Central Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to spot big cats, large herds of plains game, and a variety of other animals in the beautiful open savannah. After an exciting day of exploration, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

You’ll begin your day after breakfast with an exciting transfer game drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying about 3 hours of wildlife viewing along the way. Around 10 am, you’ll descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a unique haven for diverse wildlife, including the rare black rhino. You’ll spend approximately 5 hours exploring the crater’s 260-square-kilometer expanse, marveling at its rich ecosystem. After an unforgettable day, you will head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park

You’ll start your day with breakfast before setting off on a 90-minute drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large elephant herds and iconic ancient baobab trees, the park offers breathtaking scenery. You’ll explore the seasonal swamps, savannah landscapes, and the Tarangire River from the open roof of your safari vehicle, spotting a wide range of wildlife, including birds, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, and elephants. After your adventure, you’ll head back to Arusha to conclude your safari.
