1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Reservation: All bookings must be made in writing or via our online booking platform. A 30% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. You can make the payment via Revolut, Wise, standard bank transfer (fees vary by bank), or card(which incurs a 4% transaction fee).
1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in USD cash ($100 and $50 bills from 2009 onward, in good condition) or by card.
1.3 Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other payment methods agreed upon at the time of booking.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Your peace of mind is important to us. In the event of a cancellation, we provide a credit note for the full amount paid, which can be used to rebook your safari within a two-year period.
This policy allows you the flexibility to travel when the timing is right for you. Kindly note that the cancellation conditions may differ depending on the accommodations selected, as each lodge or camp has its own policies.
The value of your credit note remains the same, but the total safari cost may vary at the time of rebooking due to any changes in park fees or accommodation rates.
Refund Policy After Safari Commencement
Once a safari has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. This includes situations where a guest becomes unwell, encounters an emergency, or voluntarily chooses to shorten or terminate their safari. No refunds will be provided for any unused services, accommodations, activities, or park fees.
3. Changes to Booking
3.1 By Client: Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing. Changes may incur additional costs depending on availability and the nature of the change.
3.2 By Company: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary or accommodation if necessary. In the event of major changes, clients will be notified as soon as possible and given the option to accept the change, book an alternative safari.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1 All clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 Health Requirements: Clients must ensure they are in good health and fit to participate in the safari. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
5.2 Safety Protocols: Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris follows strict safety protocols. Clients must adhere to the guidance and instructions of the tour guides at all times.
6. Visas and Documentation
6.1 Clients are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and travel documents for Tanzania. Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris can provide assistance and advice but accepts no responsibility for visa issues.
7. Liability
7.1 Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the safari. Clients participate at their own risk.
7.2 We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Clients should ensure they have adequate insurance coverage.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, or government actions.
9. Complaints
9.1 Any complaints must be raised with the tour guide or company representative as soon as possible to allow for immediate resolution.
9.2 If the issue is not resolved to the client’s satisfaction, a formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of the safari.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes will be resolved in the Tanzanian courts.
11. Flight Booking
All domestic flights booked by Serengeti Wakanda are arranged on behalf of our guests through third-party airline operators. Serengeti Wakanda is not responsible for any changes, delays, or cancellations made by the airline. Any amendments or issues related to flight schedules, cancellations, or refunds will be subject to the airline’s policies.
