Visa
India passport holders can apply for a Tanzania eVisa online at eservices.immigration.go.tz, or get a visa on arrival at JRO for USD 50 (single-entry).
Vaccinations
Yellow fever certificate required only if arriving from a yellow-fever country. Routine vaccines + malaria prophylaxis recommended. Always check current advice with your travel doctor.
Recommended itinerary length
Given the flight time, most India travellers do 10–14 days on the ground. A 7-day Northern Circuit safari plus 4 nights Zanzibar is the most-requested combination.
