Tanzania does three world-class trips back-to-back: a Northern Circuit safari, a Zanzibar beach week, and a Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru climb. Our Tanzania tour packages bundle them into seamless multi-destination itineraries — one quote, one planner, internal flights handled, no logistics for you to worry about. Most guests pick safari plus Zanzibar; the more adventurous add Kilimanjaro before or after.

The three pillars of a Tanzania tour

Tanzania's tourism splits naturally into safari (Northern Circuit), beach (Zanzibar, Pemba, Mafia), and mountain (Kilimanjaro, Meru). Each is genuinely world-class and they layer beautifully. Safari first to acclimatise, Zanzibar to decompress on the beach, or Kilimanjaro first to summit then reward yourself on the plains. We sequence the package around what you most care about — wildlife, beach, summit, or all three.

Safari + Zanzibar — the classic combo

Roughly 60% of our guests pick this pairing. Six to seven days on the Northern Circuit (Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti) followed by four to five days on Zanzibar's east or north coast. Internal flights run twice daily between Arusha/Serengeti and Zanzibar, so transfers are simple. Beach side, we book boutique resorts on Matemwe, Pongwe or Kendwa rather than the package-tour strips.

Safari + Kilimanjaro — the adventure combo

Climbers usually summit first (6–8 days on Machame, Lemosho or Marangu route) then drop into the parks for a 4–6 day safari recovery. Going the other way is fine too — many guests prefer to acclimatise gently on a few short Arusha-area walks during the safari week before the climb.

Best time for a multi-destination Tanzania tour

June through October is the optimum for safari, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar simultaneously — dry, sunny, low humidity. December through February also works well across all three. The long rains (April–May) are the only window we'd discourage combining all three, though safari-only trips still go ahead with green-season pricing.

What does a Tanzania tour package cost?

A 10-day safari + Zanzibar combo runs USD 4,500–6,500 per person in mid-range, USD 7,500–10,500 in premium, and USD 14,000+ in luxury. Add a Kilimanjaro climb and budget another USD 2,800–4,200 per person depending on route and operator standards. Internal flights add USD 250–500 per leg per person.
