The Serengeti by region
The Serengeti splits into five game-viewing regions, and where you stay determines what you see. Central (Seronera Valley) — year-round resident wildlife, big cats, easy fly-in access. Northern (Kogatende, Lobo) — Mara River crossings July to October. Southern (Ndutu, Naabi Hill) — calving December to March. Western Corridor (Grumeti) — migration in June. Loliondo & Lobo (east) — quieter concessions, off-road driving, walking safaris.
A good Serengeti tour positions camps in the right region for your dates. We never default to one camp — we move you to where the wildlife is.
